My animation experience began with titling work for a few independent filmmakers at Boston Film/Video Foundation, where I also instructed several 3-weekend animation workshops for adults. I studied theater and fine art at Yale, and film/video production at UCSC, emphasis in digital media. With a strong foundation in Media 100 and After Effects, I learned Final Cut Pro and Flash on my own.
I am a team-oriented player, keen to deliver work that eases the workflow downstream of mine, and so I strive to understand how my piece of the process fits into the larger production cycle. I can work independently in my home studio, or work on-site, enjoying a bustling office and parallel productivity; and I believe my working persona operates with equal measures of artist, organizer, and geek.
